Ebun Olowu
Unknown gunmen have killed the Olufon of Ifon in Ose local government area of Ondo state, Oba Israel Adeusi, on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Elegbeka community, along Benin-Owo-Akure Highway.
Oba Adeusi was reportedly returning to Ifon from Akure, the state capital, after attending a meeting of the traditional rulers when his car ran into the gun men, who had laid ambush on the highway.
The gun men were said to have opened fire on the car and the monarch was hit. The monarch was reportedly confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, where he was rushed to.
