Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has opened up about her past relationship with Lagos socialite and transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, as well as a serious health challenge that left her in a coma.
Odueke, speaking about her personal life on a personality show, confirmed that she dated MC Oluomo and said she did not hide the relationship at the time.
“I dated MC Oluomo, and I didn’t hide it. He was good to me, but I don’t want to talk about it,” she said.
The actress said her experience taught her the importance of keeping her personal life private, noting that public attention had surrounded her relationship.
According to her, she later suffered an illness that was initially thought to be ordinary malaria and typhoid.
“I was sick, normally like malaria typhoid. We thought it was a mild sickness. The sickness lasted many months. I entered into a coma,” she said.
Odueke said her mother remained by her side throughout the difficult period, while only a few people visited or supported her at the time.
She specifically mentioned fellow actresses Funke Adesiyan and Ronke Odusanya among those who stood by her during the health crisis.
The actress’ revelation sheds light on both the intense public attention surrounding her past relationship and the difficult personal health battle she experienced away from the spotlight.
