The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has described the late Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon Kehinde Ayoola, as a selfless politician, who would be missed for his integrity, honesty, dedication and political sagacity.
Ogundoyin said this when he led a delegation of the House on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at their Gbekuba, Apata Ibadan residence.
Hon Ogundoyin said it was still difficult for members of the entire 9th Oyo Assembly to believe that one of their political and legislative mentors who was a former Speaker in the Assembly and a vibrant political actor in the present dispensation in Oyo state had died.
He urged the family especially the two sons of the late Ayoola not to despair, assuring that God’s plans and design for their lives would be fulfilled.
In the condolence register, Ogundoyin wrote, “We are saddened by your sudden death and it is really incredible to believe that you are gone. We will certainly remain focused on your ideals of hard work, honesty, transparency and service to humanity. You have surely left behind enduring legacies. Adieu, a quintessential politician and legislator per excellence”.
The delegation included the Oyo State deputy Speaker, Hon Muhammed Abiodun Fadeyi and other Principal officers as well as management staff of Oyo Assembly.
