President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Archbishop Francis Wale Oke, on his 70th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, President Tinubu described Archbishop Oke, founder of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, as a deeply religious leader committed to propagating the gospel of Christ.
The President also commended the cleric for his contributions to higher education and human development in Nigeria as the co-founder and Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, which, he said, has provided educational opportunities to thousands of Nigerian youths.
Tinubu described Archbishop Oke as a celebrated spiritual leader who has served twice as President of the PFN, noting that he has distinguished himself through integrity, humility, spiritual commitment and courageous leadership.
According to the President, the cleric has consistently promoted mutual respect, dialogue, understanding and peaceful coexistence.
“You have shown that faith, when genuinely rooted in love for God and humanity, should build bridges across boundaries,” Tinubu said.
The President further acknowledged Archbishop Oke’s evangelistic efforts through the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, saying his ministry has reached millions of people across the world with the message of salvation, hope, faith and restoration.
Tinubu noted that the cleric’s 70 years represent a life of faithful service to God, responsible leadership, peace advocacy, interfaith bridge-building, evangelism and investment in the future through education.
“As you mark this milestone, you have served God faithfully, provided leadership responsibly, built bridges across religious divides, advocated for peace, proclaimed the Gospel, and invested in the future through education,” the President said.
Tinubu prayed that God would continue to illuminate Archbishop Oke’s path, renew his strength and preserve him in sound health for many more fruitful years of service to God and humanity.
