The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB), Abuja, has arraigned three men before the Federal High Court in Abuja over an alleged $100,000 auto spare parts fraud.
The suspects, George Ali, Anthony Ali, and Simon Ali, were arraigned on allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, and obtaining by false pretences.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the complainant allegedly transferred $100,000 to the suspects in 2009 for the purchase and shipment of auto spare parts from the United States of America.
The transaction, however, was allegedly not executed as agreed, while the funds were subsequently diverted, according to the police.
Following investigations by operatives of INTERPOL NCB Abuja, the three suspects were brought before the Federal High Court, Court 6, Maitama, Abuja, to face the allegations.
The case has been adjourned until December 3, 2026, for further hearing.
