Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Tuesday May 26, 2020, revealed that two out of the latest six patients confirmed positive of Coronavirus have died.
Makinde revealed this on his twitter page saying, “Sadly, two of the six positive cases confirmed today had already passed away. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 250 and the total number of deaths is six”.
Giving the details of the six cases, the governor stated, “One case is from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan South West, Ibadan South East, Surulere, Ido and Egbeda Local Government Areas.
The Governor further said that 17 confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second negative test results and have been discharged adding, “This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 75”.
