Friday, March 13 2020, Oaklane School, Oluyole Estate Extension, Ibadan held its first Inter – House Sports Competition at the Lead City College Sports Facilities in Ibadan.
The event, which was colourful and well attended, provided the pupils the opportunity to display their various sporting talents. It commenced with a spectacular and colourful March Past, with members of the competing Houses -House of Mercy (Red), House of Victor (Blue), House of Dominion (Green) and House of Treasure (Yellow) — performing to the delight of the parents and other guests.
This was followed by several interesting activities, such as relay race, sack race, 100-metre race for both male and female, blow the balloon,among others.
The children put in their very best to ensure that their respective houses emerged the winner, and the parents and guests cheered on to make this a reality. It was obvious that both the spectators and the pupils had an exciting experience at the event.
Winners at each of the event were given prizes and medals.
The school’s Proprietress, Mrs Olanike Oladejo, could not hide her joy and excitement, as she gives all the glory to God for the success of the event.
