Reactions have started trailing the recent news of the medical support Chinese Government has pledged to Nigeria. Many Nigerians are not in support of this move, and are asking the Nigerian government to desist from accepting medical assistance from China.
Some Nigerians are of the opinion that the assistance by the Chinese Government may endanger the lives of Nigerians. They strongly ask the government to stop the 18-man medical practitioners coming from China on a mission they do not trust as well as not to allow them to treat coronavirus patients in Nigeria.
Majority of Nigerians in their reactions believe that the Chinese Government is coming to experiment their vaccine on innocent Nigerians.
According to a post from one Festus Tony titled, “Don’t bring in China doctors please”, which several people have reacted to, Nigerians are of the opinion that the nation could fight and win the deadly virus.
Tony said, “We don’t have a wide spread of the virus here. Let us manage with what we have for now. At least we do witness people been discharged from hospital. Nigerians, please arise and join the crusade to tell the government to say no to Chinese doctors…. The Chinese Government is doing everything to capture some countries all in the name of providing support. Let us not become prey or invite more havoc to our dear nation. We should be careful with America and China at this period before they turn Nigeria to a battle field. So far, we are doing well as a nation and God is fighting for us”.
While, Surveyor Abayomi Shobitan said, “I hope they listened but unfortunately they wouldn’t because the country is already sold to ‘chinko’ all because of 5G network”, Olaitan Kelâni said, “They enslaved us because of their virus and they are still bringing in the virus…”
Also, Wale Ogunsi stated, “Nigeria don’t have serious cases of coronavirus that warrant Chinese doctors or any foreign doctors to come and test vaccine here unless if the FG has an ulterior motives order than the Covid-19 issue” and Dapo Samuel said, “Let’s makes use of our professional Doctors here in Nigeria. Cases of the virus here is not as serious as that of foreign countries”.
Hilary Umoren said, “Let us rise up and fight this evil decision now. We are the people that voted them. No China or American Dr. or their vaccine is needed now in Nigeria.”, People don’t value what they have until they lose it. There are competent, qualified and professional doctors in this country. Let us make use of them. Chinese doctor are not God so there’s mercy of God in Nigeria, Mr President, please hear the voice of the wise. We don’t need Chinese”, Capital NO to China doctors. Don’t spread the virus” and Please PMB no to China doctor please”, said Oniyide Mathew, Adesanmi Taye Oropo and Abimbola Awonbiowo respectively.
