Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has finally revealed the identity of the organisation with the highest number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.
The organisation which has 63 cases as at the time of filing this report is iSON Xperiences, located in Ibadan South West Local Government.
The Governor has shut down the organisation.
Makinde, while giving the latest update of the virus in the state said, “The Covid-19 confirmation tests for six suspected cases came back positive. All six cases are from the same organisation, iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 143.
Categorically, he said, “The Company remains shut and will be decontaminated. The Emergency Operations Centre has continued intensive contact tracing to identify persons of interest linked to members of staff in the company”.
