Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has tested positive of Covid 19.
Fayemi, who is equally the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) revealed this yesterday in his Twitter page, but affirmed that he is doing well.
According to the governor, he is currently on self-isolation at his residency in the state government lodge.
According him, “I took my third Covid-19 test yesterday and it came back positive. I’m generally ok and I’m already self isolating at home and receiving the best of care from my medical team. I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home”.
However, the governor’s admirers have taken to social media wishing the him quick recovery.
Among them is Special Adviser, Political Matters at the Presidency, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, who stated, “Here is wishing him quick recovery and God’s abundant protection”.
