Raging inferno today consumed several shops in the tyre section of Araromi Spare Parts Market at Gate Area of Ibadan.
According to the information gathered, property worth several millions of naira was lost to the fire incident.
The efforts of the fire fighters to put the fire off was hampered due their inability to access the section that gut fire. It was stated that the fire fighters have to parked their fire trucks at a distance of about half kilometres as two teams from the Oyo state fire service drag water hose to battle inferno worsened by inflammable items.
