The Federal Government has ordered the reopening of all schools in the country earlier closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, announced this on Friday in Abuja, explaining that the COVID-19 curve has been flattened.
According to the Minister, while unity schools are to reopen on October 12, 2020, “states and private schools will determine their own modalities of reopening”. They are, however, to ensure that there are adequate safety measures while doing so.
Adamu equally warned that schools who fail to adhere to outlined COVID-19 safety protocols, risk closure if there is any outbreak from such learning facilities.
