Otunba Bisi Kolawole, a former Commissioner under Ayodele Fayose’s government defeated other governorship aspirants to clinch the 2022 Ekiti State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship ticket.
At a Special State Congress of the Ekiti State PDP, held today at Ado-Ekiti, the Efon Alaye born Kolawole beat the other aspirants to be the party’s governorship candidate 671 votes, while his closest rival, Engr. Segun Oni polled 330 and the former Deputy Governor in the state, Professor Olusola Kolapo Eleka scored 93.
Other aspirants: Adewale Aribisala, 56, Kayode Adaramodu, 10, Ayodeji Kazeem, 6, Serving Senator Abiodun olujimi, 2, while Adekemi Adewumi, Olumide Ojo and Ajidola, polled 1, respectively.
