President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation in a national broadcast by 7pm today.
The special adviser on media and publicity to the President, Femi Adesina revealed this through his twitter.
Buhari decided to address the nation after holding an emergency meeting with the service chiefs concerning the crisis rocking the nation as a result of the nationwide #EndSARSProtest.
According to Adesina, “Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm”.
He said, “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast”.
