The immediate past Secretary of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole has declared his intention defect from All Progressives Congress, (APC), to the ruling party People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).
Akinwole said that the performance of the state Governor, Seyi Makinde propelled him to take the decision, stressing that that Makinde has shown that he is a good leader that anyone, who want to serve his/her people should follow.
He explained, “Governor Seyi Makinde’s performance and magic touch turning Oyo State to cynosure of all eyes within the little stint of times, is a motivating factor, his plethora of achievement and quality style of governance is another sterling quality that really spurred me into taking this decision”.
He called on the progressive, who are still in APC not to waste time in joining PDP if they want to get to promisedland.
Asked if he is being pushed by his ambition to become Reps in 2023 Assembly election, he said, “My interest is to serve my people with the utmost interest of moving my country home cum Oyo State to the expected height. Our people deserve better representation”.
