The family of the former governor of Oyo State, Late Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, has released the burial arrangement of the former governor, who died on Wednesday January 12, 2022.
According to the funeral schedule of activities, Alao-Akala will be buried on Friday February 18, 2022 at his residence, situated at Opadoyin, Randa, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, shortly after burial service at Beulah Baptist Conference Ground, behind Baptist High School, Ogbomosho.
Earlier, day of tributes will be held on Monday February 14, 2022 at Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan at 11am, on Tuesday, there will be praise night at Opadoyin Akala Lodge, Ogbomosho. His body will lie in state at House of Chief, Oyo State Government Secretariat, Ibadan on Wednesday February 16, 2022.
Slated for Thursday February 17, 2022 at 10am, is cultural display and parade at Ogbomosho township and Christian wake keep and service of songs at 4pm at his Ogbomosho residence.
