The University of Ibadan (UI), has released the programme of events for the 2023 convocation and Foundation Day ceremonies starting on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, with Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), have the former first lady of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi as a guest of honour.
Other programmes of the convocation ceremonies include the University of Ibadan Research Development (UI-RESDEV) Fair, themed, “Re-Engaging the University for Society and Industry”, High-Level Intellectual Reflections with UNESCO, themed, ‘Commons’, Convocation Jumat Service and Foundation Day Church Service, Night of Music, and University of Ibadan Research Foundation Day, titled, “Stakeholders Forum on Adolescent and Youth Health Policies in Africa”.
Convocation lecture titled, “Promoting the Culture of Meritocracy: A Panacea for National Development”, be delivered by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Omolara Yemi -Esan slated for Tuesday, November 15, 2023, Theatre Arts’ Command Performance comes up on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
While admission to First Degrees comes up on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15, admission to Higher Degree so – Master, Ma. Phil., and M. P. H, admission to Higher Degrees – Doctorate, PAULESI, PhD and conferment of Honorary Degrees comes up on Friday, November 17, 2023, when Foundation Day would be celebrated.
