All arrangements have been put in place for a Conference in honour of Professor Bolanle Awe scheduled to hold between February 13th-14th at the University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State, Nigeria to celebrate the scholar at 90.
The conference is being organised by three world-class universities: the University of Ibadan, The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Lagos (Unilag), Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Conference with the topic, “Oral Traditions and Written Histories” will feature 141 paper presentations on different topics within the gender space.
The Conference will be attended by scholars within and outside Nigeria.
