Wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Pastor Simangele Rosemary Nomtandazo Odukoya was today, Tuesday November 30, 2021 buried in Lagos amidst tears.
Fondly called Pastor Nomthi, the late South African beauty died on November 9, 2021 after a two-year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband and two boys, Jomi and Timi.
The church service was held at the Church Auditorium and she was laid to rest in a private cemetery, in the presence of members of the family, clerics and friends.
Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo of KICC, who officiated during the church service described the late Rosemary as an outstanding woman, a prayerful wife, a person who smiles each time she sees you. A woman who carries her family wherever she goes to.
He urged Pastor Taiwo to console himself with the knowledge that she is in a better place.
He, however, urged him not to allow what happened to make him deviate from God’s way.
Late Pastor Nomthi got married to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya on January 5, 2010, five years after he lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005.
