Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo has sent 20 commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly for confirmation as well as appointing 15 Special Advisers.
Among the commissioner-nominees, awaiting confirmation from the state legislators are six scholars: three professors and three PhD holders.
The list of the commissioners are: Professor Ofonze Amucheazi, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, Professor Chika Ifemeje, Dr Afam Obidike, Dr Obinna Ugonnadi and Dr Foster Ihejiofor.
Others are: Ifeatu Chinedu, Mr Ifeanyi Okoma, Ms Chiamaka Nnake, Mr Patrick Aghamba, Mrs Ifeyinwa Obinabo, Mr Julius Chukwuemeka, Mr Paul Nwosu, Mrs Patricia Igwebuike, Mr Felix Odimegwu, Mr Chikodi Anara, Mr Collins Nwabunwanne, Mr Donatus Onyeji, Mr Anthony Ifeanya and Mr Paulinus Onyeaka.
Governor Soludo also asked the House to approve that the commissioner of police in the state return checkpoints and patrol teams to Anambra roads.
