The 52 Member States of the African Union have reported 30,329 cases, 1,374 deaths, and 9,106 recoveries, as of 10 am (EAT) on Sunday April 26 2020.
The data, which was provided by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), shows that North Africa has the highest number of confirmed cases with 12,479 cases, followed by West Africa with 7,373. South Africa has 4,698, East Africa 3,127 and Central Africa has 2,652 confirmed cases.
