The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the return of another 65 Nigerian nationals from South Africa.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the Nigerians, who are being sponsored by private individuals, are scheduled to depart Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The returnees are expected to depart Johannesburg at 3:30 p.m. local time aboard South African Airways.
They are scheduled to arrive at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 8:45 p.m. the same day.
The ministry did not disclose further details about the circumstances surrounding the return of the 65 Nigerians.
The latest repatriation adds to ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of Nigerian nationals from South Africa with support from private individuals.
