Popular Yoruba personality Yomi King, popularly known as Baba Opebi, has disclosed that he is currently undergoing medical tests after falling ill, amid concerns over a possible kidney-related ailment.
Baba Opebi reportedly visited a hospital for medical examination, but said he was still awaiting the results that would confirm the nature of his health condition.
According to him, while chatting with Kunle Aford, the suspected kidney problem is not currently at a critical stage. However, he expressed doubts about the medical explanation, saying he believes he may be experiencing a spiritual attack.
Baba Opebi said he had experienced a strange situation in which water appeared to drip onto him even when there was no visible rainfall.
He said: “As I am sitting, water will just be dribbling on me from nowhere. It is not visible rain, but when it starts falling on me, I will know.”
He maintained that, while he was awaiting confirmation of his medical condition, he believed there could be a spiritual dimension to what he was experiencing.
The outcome of the medical tests is expected to provide further clarification on his condition.
