President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Ibadan-born businessman and philanthropist, Chief Dotun Jubril Sanusi, on his 58th birthday, commending his contributions to community development, youth empowerment and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Sanusi as a compassionate businessman and an exemplary son of Ibadan and Oyo State.
The President praised Sanusi for his generosity and commitment to humanity, particularly through initiatives aimed at developing young people and supporting his community.
He cited the establishment of ICAST School and Ilaji Soccer Academy as examples of Sanusi’s investment in education and sports development.
According to Tinubu, the soccer academy provides opportunities for young talents to develop their skills and pursue professional football careers, including recruitment opportunities with teams in Spain and Malta.
The President also acknowledged Sanusi’s contributions to the APC, describing him as a loyal party member who has been mobilising support ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
“I appreciate your invaluable contributions to our party and your unalloyed personal support,” Tinubu said.
Sanusi, who built a career in the oil industry, worked with multinational companies, including Halliburton, Saipem, Hanover and Beckfield, before establishing TNL Drilling Services.
The company has since recorded rapid growth, while Sanusi also serves as chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Tinubu commended the businessman’s humility and kindness, noting that his philanthropic activities have earned him admiration among those who have encountered him.
The President prayed for Sanusi’s continued good health, greater accomplishments and many more years of service to humanity as he marks another birthday.
