The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, on his 58th birthday.
Alli, in a congratulatory statement, described Sanusi as a distinguished engineer, community leader and philanthropist whose commitment to humanity and community development deserves recognition.
He said the celebrant’s life exemplifies generosity, purposeful leadership and selfless service, noting that his contributions extend beyond professional accomplishments to community development and the welfare of the less privileged.
According to Alli, Sanusi’s dedication to uplifting people and supporting worthy causes underscores the importance of responsible leadership, particularly at a time when communities need individuals willing to deploy their resources, influence and experience to address societal challenges.
The APC governorship candidate noted that Sanusi’s traditional titles, including Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, reflect the recognition of his leadership qualities and commitment to the development of his people.
He said the birthday offers another opportunity to celebrate Sanusi’s contributions and encourage greater commitment to the development of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria.
Alli urged the celebrant to remain steadfast in his philanthropic engagements, stressing that the true measure of influence lies not merely in the positions occupied or titles held, but in the positive impact made on people’s lives and the enduring legacies created for future generations.
He added that Nigeria needs more citizens who combine professional excellence with compassion, patriotism and a willingness to contribute to the common good.
According to him, Sanusi’s birthday should inspire renewed dedication to community service, youth empowerment and initiatives that expand opportunities for vulnerable members of society.
Alli prayed for renewed strength, sound health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for the celebrant.
He expressed hope that Sanusi’s 58th year would usher in more opportunities to serve humanity and contribute meaningfully to the peace, progress and prosperity of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
