The National Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the October 10, 2020 Governorship Election in Ondo State, led by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has declared that the party was set to take over the state from the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Stating this yesterday after heads of its committees met in Ibadan, the party maintained that it was ready to do all that it was lawful to secure victory in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
The party, which hold strongly that victory is sure, pointed out that it would send the incumbent Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu packing from the state house.
In his speech, the party Governorship Candidate, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN), said that the party was prepared for the election, stressing that the party has the massive support of the people of the state.
Jegede promised that the party would usher in a new dawn in the state, stating that the people would experience a new lease of life in all sectors of the society.
