The National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, today, paid N100m to buy the party’s Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms.
Picking the forms on behalf of the presidential aspirant, who is currently in Saudi Arabia for Hajj, were Hon. James Faleke and Hon. Babatunde Adejare, both representing Ikeja and Agege Federal Constituencies respectively and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
The forms were picked up at the APC National Headquarters on Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja, at exactly 3 pm.
As of the time of filing this report, Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello have picked up the APC presidential forms while others are expected to follow suit in the coming days.
Others, who are expected to pick the forms are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi; former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu.
