A 200 level student of the Department of Educational Management, University of Ibadan (UI), Comfort Ireti Ajiboye, has reportedly died.
This was contained in a release by the Institution’s Students’ Union dated October 13, 2022 and signed by the President, Adewole Yinka , General Secretary, Bamidele Taiwo Paul and PRO, Olalekan Michael Ajibola .
According to the release, Ajiboye died on October 12, 2022. The cause of the death was not disclosed.
The statement read:
“The Union received with great sadness, the sad news of the death of a Uite, AJIBOYE IRETI COMFORT, a 200L student in the department of Educational Management, who reportedly died yesterday.
“We are deeply saddened by this as her death is a personal loss not only to us, but also to her family, loved ones, colleagues, friends, and everyone she had a positive impact on during her brief but eventful life.
“With total submission to the will of God, we want to express our heartfelt condolences to her family and relatives during this difficult time, praying that the Lord grant her soul a sweet repose and the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”.
