President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s resolve to deliver infrastructure and social development projects that cut across all regions of the country, stressing that no Nigerian will be treated as second-class under his leadership.
Speaking on the guiding principles of his government, the President said his oath of office was to serve all Nigerians and not a particular section, noting that this commitment informs the distribution of projects across the federation.
“I took an oath to serve all Nigerians, not a section. That oath guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project we deliver,” Tinubu stated.
He highlighted key infrastructure initiatives spanning different regions, including the Lagos–Calabar Highway in the South, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail in the East, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway in the Centre, and the Trans-Saharan highway linking African countries.
“These are not local trophies. They are our national assets,” the President added.
On social and economic interventions, Tinubu noted that health centres are being rehabilitated nationwide, while light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos and Ogun states have received approval.
He also revealed that the administration is creating 250,000 jobs, reviving the 255MW Kaduna power plant, reconnecting communities with bridges in Onitsha and Bonny, expanding oil exploration in Bauchi and Gombe, and pushing forward the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) gas pipeline, which has crossed the River Niger.
“Every farmer who needs a road, every trader who needs power, every child who needs a school, every patient who needs care… this is who we are building for,” the President said.
Tinubu described the efforts as part of the “equity of Renewed Hope,” emphasising that his administration remains committed to inclusive growth and national unity.
“No Nigerian is second class, no region is left behind. Together we will rise as one nation, one people, and one destiny,” he declared.
