President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated his Special Adviser on Policy Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU), Hadiza Bala-Usman, as she marks her 50th birthday on January 2, 2026.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Bala-Usman as a dedicated patriot whose career exemplifies service, sacrifice, and commitment to national development.
Tinubu said Bala-Usman’s nearly 30-year journey in public service reflects diligence and purpose-driven leadership, noting that her professional trajectory offers “enduring lessons” for the younger generation.
He recalled her early career at the Bureau of Public Enterprises, where she was said to have demonstrated clarity of vision and a strong understanding of structural reforms required to stimulate economic growth, even at a young age.
The President also highlighted her leadership roles at the Abuja Enterprise Agency and the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), describing them as defining milestones in which she “broke barriers, raised standards and strengthened accountability in public administration.”
Tinubu further commended Bala-Usman’s contributions to partisan politics, particularly her involvement in party organisation and institutional development within the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he said enhanced internal party processes and deepened democratic culture.
“In her current role as Special Adviser and Head of the CRDCU, Hadiza continues to distinguish herself as an astute public administrator through discipline, clear thinking, and a firm focus on results,” the President said.
According to him, her efforts have strengthened governance frameworks, promoted evidence-based performance, and advanced the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu prayed for continued strength, wisdom and good health for Bala-Usman, expressing hope that she will remain an inspiration to women, young people, and emerging leaders across the country as she celebrates her golden jubilee.
