A 17-year-old young man killed his father with multiple stab wounds on Saturday June 5, 2021 in Ploeren (Morbihan), France, Bleu Armorique announced on Monday.
“As soon as the facts are established”, he sent “a video from the crime scene to around forty recipients on social networks”, explains the Prosecutor of Vannes, François Touron.
It was the teenager himself who warned the police by calling them around 11:30 p.m. He confirmed it to them “to have deliberately killed his father with several stab wounds”, according to the prosecutor.
The young man had drunk a lot before he got to his father that evening, who had been living alone for several weeks. He went into the kitchen, took two knives, woke his father and dealt him several fatal blows.
The teenager told investigators he wanted an end to the “aggressive and violent behavior by his father against the background of alcoholism and the suffering this behavior has caused for his family”, explains the prosecutor of Vannes.
His wife had also filed a complaint and left the marriage with their two children for several weeks.
Following this complaint, a criminal investigation was launched on May 12th.
