Amidst crying and groaning, family, friends, and notable Nigerians, actors and actresses, gathered at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos, on Friday, January 9, 2026, to bury actress Allwell Eniobake Ademola, who died at 43 on December 27, 2025.
Among the artistes on ground to bid Allwell good night are Rotimi Salami, Toyin Abraham, Biola Adebayo, Rotimi Salami, and Saidi Balogun.
Speaking during the burial, a clergyman urged the attendees to go beyond mourning, stressing that the event should preach to people to amend their ways because no one knows when death will come knocking.
Pointing out that heaven is real, the man of God admonished everyone to work to make heaven, noting, “What has this event done to you as an individual? As we depart, let us put it in our minds that heaven is real. We need to prepare every day for eternity.”
“Guided by Ecclesiastes 3, he said, “It is proper to cry and weep. As we cry, as we weep, as we grieve, the question is, after this, what next? Is this going to help us to make amends on our ways and make things right with our maker, or is it going to be one of those things? Are we going to allow this event to do the will of God in our lives? The will of God is to number our days so that we can apply our hearts to wisdom.”
