Three suspects in connection with the brutal murder of Isaac Satlat, a 22-year-old Nigerian Bolt driver, Dikeledi Mphela, Goitsione Machidi, and McClaren Mushwana, have been arraigned today at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court in South Africa.
While the proceeding was going on, some South Africans gathered in front of the court protesting against the gruesome murder of Isaac and demanding that justice be served.

Responding to the solidarity demonstrated by the South Africans, the Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), stated, “We commend this show of unity and shared demand for justice. NIDCOM continues to monitor developments as we ask for transparent proceedings and stand with the family and Nigerian community.”
It would be recalled that Satlat was allegedly attacked after responding to a ride request in Pretoria West on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.
His hijacked vehicle and his body were later found abandoned in Atteridgeville on the same day, leading to a 25-year-old woman being initially arrested on Friday, 13 February 2026, in connection with the killing.
