The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has awarded a doctoral degree in Accounting to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola popularly known as Yayi.
Yayi, a Nigerian politician who served as the Senator from Lagos West from 2015 to 2023, is currently representing Ogun West.
Earlier, he served as an Honourable member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho State Constituency between 2003 to 2011 under the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Breaking the news of his new academic feat, Yayi, on his X page said, “To God be the Glory. I’m now Senator (Aremo) Dr. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA FCTI, FFPI. Ph.D. Doctor of Accounting.”
Yayi, a politician from the Yewa zone in Ogun State is a major contender for the 2027 governorship election in Ogun State.
