American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, is facing fresh turmoil as two new sexual assault lawsuits were filed just hours before his highly anticipated sentencing, deepening the controversy surrounding him.
According to reports by TMZ, attorney Tony Buzbee filed civil suits on behalf of two alleged victims, Lakeisha Ward and Dejoan Bledsloe. The lawsuits accuse Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting them in separate incidents.
Ward claims in her lawsuit that she was assaulted after attending a pool party at Combs’ Los Angeles residence in 2018. She alleges the music executive drugged her before the assault.
In a separate filing, Bledsloe alleges that Combs attacked him in 2009 when he was 18 years old. He says he met Combs at a party at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel, where the producer allegedly promised him a recording contract before drugging and sexually assaulting him.
The new accusations surfaced on the eve of Combs’ sentencing in New York, where he already faces penalties tied to unrelated charges. Court filings and insider accounts also revealed that Combs allegedly made troubling remarks about having a “death wish,” raising concerns about his mental health as legal pressure mounts.
Combs’ legal team has not directly addressed the latest lawsuits but has consistently dismissed earlier claims as “fabricated, opportunistic, and designed to destroy” his reputation.
