Renowned American Christian worship leader, singer and songwriter, Ron Kenoly, has died. He passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the age of 81.
Kenoly was born on December 6, 1944, in Coffeyville, Kansas, United States of America.
He rose to prominence in gospel music circles in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming widely known for leading powerful live worship concerts. His music and ministry inspired countless worshippers across the United States, Africa and other parts of the world to pursue their passion for praising God.
Popular for songs such as “Lift Him Up”, Jesus Is Alive, and several live-recorded worship anthems, Kenoly left an enduring legacy in contemporary gospel music.
