Alhaji Gbolagade Akeem Akinpelu popularly known as Ogun Majek has reportedly died around 5.30 am, today, June 25, 2020.
The veteran actor, who had a long battle with illness for several years, had spent several millions in looking for cure.
Funke Daramola, a Yoruba actress and Convener of Para Africa Foundation had solicited support for the ailing actor earlier this year and was able to get him into hospital for proper medical attention.
Reacting to the death of the actor, Femi Bolodeoku Woli ChaChe (Aremo Olodumare) wrote on Facebook:
“My hand want to type but my brain was weak.
My eyes want to hold it but my tears were uncontrollable
I don’t know an elephant can fall in a thousand years.
I never know goodbye will be the next word from me to you.
You have done the little you can do and you’ve return back home.
I find it so difficult to type the word RIP.
We love you but God love you more.
