The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has commenced the distribution of new uniforms to personnel across its various zones, including Zone 12, Bauchi, sparking jubilation among officers and men of the force.
The initiative, which is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the welfare and professionalism of personnel, has been warmly received, with officers expressing appreciation to the police leadership for the gesture.
According to the Force, the distribution of uniforms is aimed at boosting the morale of officers, improving their appearance, and strengthening public confidence in their professionalism.
Several personnel in Bauchi hailed the move, describing it as a sign of recognition of their sacrifices.
Showing his gratitude to the police force, an Assistant Superintendent of Police 2 (ASP II), M. Ndibi, from Bauchi State Police Command said, “The new uniforms will make a significant difference in our daily operations. We’re grateful for the leadership’s support.”
Another officer added, “This gesture shows that our efforts are recognized and valued. We’re proud to serve with dignity.”
The police leadership noted that the exercise is expected to positively impact officers’ performance, enhance their confidence, and foster greater pride in service.
With the uniform distribution underway nationwide, the Force believes the development will further empower personnel to discharge their duties effectively in maintaining law and order.
