The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has convened its 102nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja, with members and stakeholders arriving in a jubilant mood.
The meeting is being attended by the governors, party leaders, and other critical stakeholders from across the country.
The event is being held in what insiders describe as a “convivial atmosphere,” with members singing and cheering to reaffirm the party’s unity and resilience.
At the heart of the agenda are key deliberations on the report of the National Zoning Committee as well as preparations for the party’s upcoming national convention.
Party leaders say today’s discussions will shape the PDP’s strategic direction as it positions itself as a formidable opposition and strengthens its campaign machinery ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the party, the NEC gathering symbolises its renewed commitment to delivering credible leadership and rekindling the hope of Nigerians.
The PDP emphasised that the meeting reflects its shared vision to provide a robust opposition and reclaim power in 2027.
