Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin has vowed that the State Assembly would draft a bill to regulate the activities of house agents and curb the menace of extortion that has made access to housing difficult for our people.
In a statement he personally issued and signed and made available on social media, Ogundoyin stated, “As the voice of the Youth Parliament, I reaffirmed my commitment to deliberate investment in modern skill acquisition centres that will equip our youths with relevant skills to thrive in today’s competitive world.”
“I also urged our young people to shun social vices such as cybercrime and ritual practices, and instead embrace innovation, creativity, and self-sustainability”, he added.
“Together, we will build a future where the energy of our youths drives progress and prosperity for Oyo State”, he concluded.
