Hon. Esther Oyewale representing ward 3, Otan Ayegbaju in Boluwaduro local government in Osun State has been alleged to have assaulted Mrs Adefunke Adegoke of the council’s Community Department.
Adefunke alleged that the honourable mercilessly beat her thereby inflicting injuries on her.
In a telephone chat, Adefunke, who is said to be receiving medical care at the State Hospital, stated that it has become a usual practice for Oyawole to come to her office and harass her.
Narrating her ordeal, she said “On Monday, she came to my office because she has been nursing grudges against me before she assaulted me. She wanted me to be divulging government secret to her and I refuse to do so. My condition presently is not fine because she hit me on my face where an operation had sometimes ago been conducted. Presently, I am in State Hospital, Asubiaro receiving treatment”.
Reacting to the allegation, Oyewale confirmed that there was an altercation at the local government between them, but denied assaulting her, adding that it was Adegoke that initiated the argument.
