Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the official wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced that she would mark her 65th birthday on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in a unique and purposeful way by dedicating the celebration to God and to the advancement of education in the country.
In a nationwide broadcast which Busola Kukoyi, her Senior Special Adviser on Media posted on X, the First Lady said that instead of the usual birthday celebrations, gifts, or media greetings, she would prefer well-wishers to channel their goodwill into supporting the completion of the National Library project, a cause she described as “close to my heart.”
“This will be the best birthday present I am going to receive. My love for education has informed my decision to dedicate my birthday to this worthy cause,” she said.
According to her, contributions can be made through the ‘Oluremi at 65 Education Fund’, which is being coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education.
Donations are to be paid into Zenith Bank PLC, account number 1310314977.
Senator Tinubu emphasised that dedicating her milestone birthday to education reflects her lifelong passion for learning and development, noting that the National Library, once completed, would serve as a vital resource for future generations.
She also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and appealed for collective participation in the project, stressing that the initiative would make her 65th birthday truly memorable.
