Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the nomination of the Olubadan-Designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, as the the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland and further approved Friday, September 26, 2025 for his coronation.
The spokesperson to the monarch, Adeola Oloko, stated, “Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.”
It was gathered that a state government delegation today paid a courtesy visit to Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-in-Council at his Bodija residence to fine-tune arrangements ahead of the Installation.
