A 38 year old Nigerian multitalented film actor, guitarist, model, musician and member Nollywood, Bigvai Oreoluwa Jokotoye has announced that his application for the citizenship of the United States of America (USA) has been approved by the USA government, saying, “I am a US Citizen”.
The award winning actor relocated to Califonia in USA in 2013 and in 2016, he married Adetokunbo.
According to a short video clip he uploaded on Twitter, Bigvai excitedly said, “I am the happiest man right now. I am a US citizen. I am a US citizen right now. If you want this, God will do it for you. God will do it for you. If you are happy for me, God will do it for you”.
Bigvai was born to the family of late Pastor and Mrs Jokotoye, from Ajaawa Ogbomosho state Nigeria. His mother is from Cotonou Benin Republic. After the completion of his secondary school education at Ilofa Grammar school, he proceeded to University of Ado-Ekiti but could not complete his degree programme as a result of the death of his father which occurred in 2001. He decided to go into acting, which eventually shot him to the limelight.
Among the awards he has received are: City people best supporting actor 2014, Best actor Mapoly, Abeokuta 2014, Best Actor, YIA California and Best supporting actor.
