The Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has felicitated with Dr Fene Osakwe, a Nigerian cybersecurity expert, on his ground breaking nomination as the Cybersecurity Personality of the Year in the United Kingdom.
According to a statement signed by NiDCOM Director of Media, Public Relations and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa, in a congratulatory message, described the prestigious recognition as a testament to Osakwe’s exceptional contributions to the field of cybersecurity.

Dr Osakwe is the sole African nominee in this category competing alongside leaders from 11 other countries.
Osakwe is a multi award global winning cybersecurity professional , career mentor and best selling author.
The award ceremony, scheduled to take place in March, will be attended by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, further underscoring the significance of this achievement.
In another development, the commission also congratulated Dr. Sikiru Omogbolah Oseni, a prominent Nigerian in the diaspora, on receiving the prestigious United Nations (UN), Ambassador of Peace Award.

Dabiri-Erewa praised Dr. Oseni for his remarkable contributions to the global music industry, where he has been a driving force in promoting African musicians to the United States and beyond.
