An unidentified elderly Nigerian mother has cried out for help and assistance toward raising a ransom to rescue her daughter, who was kidnapped by unknown kidnappers on her way to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp.
In a viral video on X, the mother of the kidnapped corps member was crying bitterly urging good samaritans to help her raise the ransom the kidnappers have demanded from her.
She held a little money in her hand, showing whosoever cared that that was all she could raise.
In some placards, the family members of the grieving mother carried, one of the inscriptions reads: “Help save the life of our daughter kidnapped on her way to NYSC. Account no. 0217165618, GTB. Account name: Quadri Faruq.”
The grieving mother said, “Please, help me. Help me. I have tried my best to raise this little money I am holding. Don’t let kidnappers kill my daughter. I don’t mind any amount, even N2000 will go a long way.”
