Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, inaugurated the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission to be led by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon. Justice Iyabo Yerima as Chairman.
Other members of the commission are: Attorney-General/Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Abiodun Aikomo Hon Justice Tajudeen M. Abdulganiyu (President Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State) Mrs M. O. Abdulganiyu (Secretary) Barr. Musibau Adetunji Chief Joshua Abioye Chief Moyosore Ajani Barr. Wahab Adedigba.

Makinde pointed out that the Judicial Service Commission plays a very important role in the administration of justice, hence, enjoined the newly inaugurated members to carry out their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
