The Founder and Presiding minister of the Livingspring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel has announced in a press conference that the church will hold its Annual World Lifting Conference themed, “Multiplication” between December 13 and 19, 2021.
The conference, which will hold at Dominion City located at Aduloju Bus Stop along Iwo Road Ojoo Expressway in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State, will feature the word, worship, interactions, seminars and workshops, which will address different areas of life.
Pastor Emmanuel stated that incorporated into the one-week spiritual exercise includes youth empowerment that will expose the youth to different trainings that can make them creators of wealth and be self-reliant, marriage counselling, free shopping, love feast, ministers conference, free legal service, free medical service, prayer and miracles, bible teaching, deliverance and sanctification.
It was explained that workers meeting called leaders’ meeting, is slated for Monday, while the conference will be declared open on Tuesday. Also, there will be Ministers’ Conference and prayer mountain on Thursday, praise night, anointing service and thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Among the guest ministers expected to grace the occasion are, the founder and Presiding Bishop of Christ Life Church worldwide, who doubles as the President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Francis Wale Oke, and three popular Nigerian gospel singers, Evangelist Tope Alabi, Empraiz and Abidemi Ayodeji Ogunmolu, also known as Bidemi Olaoba.
Speaking, the pastor noted that the conference will mark 28 years anniversary of the church, pointing out “My joy knows no bounds seeing this ministry growing in leaps and bounds and moving from glory to glory despite all odds”.
Pointing out that 28 years is symbolic and significant in the life of an individual or organization, Pastor Emmanuel stated, “To us in the Livingspring Chapel Family, this voyage of two decades and eight has culminated in a consolidated ministry as well as enviable monumental achievements…. I will like to tell you that Livingspring Chapel International that is now a global phenomenon has a humble beginning. Our 28 years odyssey encompasses our inception, cradle, struggles, challenges and growth”.
He said, “Going down memory lane, what you see today began as a dream some 28 years ago through a burden for soul-winning that eventually translated into a vision. It was this vision that led me into starting the evangelism. It got to a point in the then crusade and evangelism efforts, where it became obvious that except there is a platform to establish the souls won, harvests from the field might not be sustainable. So, the idea of a church arm of the ministry was conceived and birthed as a means of retaining souls that were won through the crusade efforts of the Word Preachers Ministry”.
“The name the church bears “Livingspring” is predicated on the book of Isaiah 41:17-18. So the name “Livingspring Chapel” emanated from the burden of refreshing souls from the spring of life-Jesus Christ. Today, the ministry is blessed with a covenant home of all “Livingspring” Worldwide in the heart of Ibadan City called Dominion City: located at Aduloju Bus-Stop, along Iwo Road, Ojoo Expressway, Ibadan, which is the venue of our annual World Lifting Conference”, he added.
Stressing that nothing in life is free of challenges, Pastor Emmanuel said, “What you see today and where we are today was inspired by challenges. And I have also discovered that church grows when confronted with challenges. There were challenges of money, infrastructure, and manpower; there were moments of terrific shakings and contentions. We know challenges are still ahead, but the consolation is that as a church, we have always subdued our challenges and we shall continue to subdue any challenge that comes our way”.
He explained, “One major thing that makes a people cohesive and perhaps operate as a family is communication, which is fostered by the availability of a forum to meet on a regular basis. It was the insight of Shiloh in the bible that became a springboard for our annual conference which comes up in the middle of December every year, whose nomenclature mutated to World Lifting Conference. You will recall in the book of Judge 21:19 that there was a feast of the Lord in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel. Thus, we converge this time every year as one family to pray, plan, review our activities for the year, learn and receive divine-direction for the New Year. There is always an avalanche of testimonies. Livingspringers come from different parts of the world to share testimonies of God’s goodness during the outgoing year, redeem their pledges and renew their walk with God by sacrifices. In addition, the ambience of the conference affords each member of the family the opportunity of experiencing the word, worship and warmth”.
