The Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has appointed new commissioners of police for four states of the Western Region of Nigeria.
The new commissioners are CP Olatunji Olaiwola Fatai, Lagos State Command; CP Olubode Ojajuni, Ogun State Command; CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola, Oyo State Command; and CP Michael Adegoroye Falade, Ekiti State Command.
According to a press statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Anthony Okon Placid, the posting of these CPs is part of the restructuring taking place in the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen operational efficiency, enhance leadership capacity, and improve service delivery nationwide.

The IGP said that the postings are in line with the Force’s commitment to an effective command structure and the strategic deployment of personnel across Commands, Formations, and Departments.
Disu charged the officers to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their respective assignments and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and service in the discharge of their duties.
