The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening its diplomatic and commercial relations with the Republic of Türkiye.
Keyamo made this known after receiving the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mehmet Poroy, who led a high-level delegation on an official visit to the minister’s office in Abuja on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
During the meeting, Ambassador Poroy expressed his country’s pride in its longstanding partnership with Nigeria, emphasising Türkiye’s continued commitment to deepening cooperation, especially in the aviation and technological sectors.
In response, Keyamo commended Türkiye for its sustained partnership and investment in Nigeria’s aviation industry, assuring that the Federal Government will continue to promote and expand the mutually beneficial relationship between both nations.
He noted that such collaborations would further enhance the growth of Nigeria’s aviation sector and boost broader bilateral engagements between the two countries.
